I’d like to ensure we’re doing this properly. A degree was conferred in August 2013. Trainee appointment to begin July 2016. What is the correct PGY level?

A Level Two given the following logic:
August 2013 level 0
August 2014 level 1
August 2015 level 2
August 2016 level 3
Since July 2016 is before August 2016, they would be listed as a 2. The stipend level for the entire first year of support is determined by the number of full years of relevant postdoctoral experience when the award is issued.
