Task Order

Task order contracts are used by funding agencies for services that does not procure or specify a firm quantity of services (other than a minimum or maximum quantity) and that provides for the issuance of orders for the performance of tasks during the period of the contract. This is most typically used for projects in which the sponsor will choose various subcontractors to complete various aspects of a project.
To answer your question, you would use the Task Order in KC if you have any funding source which specifies the funding mechanism as a “Task Order”.
