I need to enter a UMM resident as a Key Person, but I can’t find the person in Kuali Coeus. What do I do?

Will the resident be a Principal Investigator? If yes, the person must be entered as a UMB Affiliate in the Community System, and added as a Kuali Coeus User.
Will you be requesting salary for the resident in the budget? If yes, the person must be entered as a UMB Affiliate in the Community System.
If you will ONLY be adding the person as a Key Person (e.g., Other Significant Contributor) and not requesting salary, then complete an Address Request to add the person to the Kuali Coeus Address Book.
To add the resident in the Personnel section of the budget and/or as a Principal Investigator, your department needs to add this person as an Affiliate in the Community System, and the Community System record must include a request for Coeus access. The screen to request Coeus Access is under the tab located at the top of the Community screen labeled “App ID Request”.
After the Affiliate request has been fully approved through the system with the request for Coeus Access, Kuali Coeus is updated the next day.
Remember that your resident may also need an eCommons User ID if your proposal is for NIH.
