I have a faculty member submitting an R01 with two visiting Post Docs listed in the budget, but they are not being paid by UMB, their home institutions are paying for them. How do you enter them in KC?

Since the visitors are paid by their employers/home institutions, they are still affiliated with those institutions and cannot be added in the Personnel section of UMB’s budget. Only UMB personnel are to be included in the Personnel section. To pay the visitors from the grant, consider a subaward to the home institution, or perhaps a consultant arrangement.
